Oktoberfest returns to the Liederkranz. Join us Saturday, September 26, 2026 — doors open at 5:30 pm — for an evening of music, good beer, and the kind of Gemütlichkeit the Liederkranz has been practicing since 1872. Sing along if you know the words; if you don’t, we’ll teach you. Bring your family, bring your friends, bring your appetite. Alle sind willkommen — everyone is welcome, longtime members and first-timers alike. Prost!

Get ready to celebrate a springtime tradition at the Indianapolis Liederkranz. Our annual Bock Bier Fest is just around the corner, and we can’t wait to welcome you to our historic home for an evening of music, food, and community.

  • Location: Indianapolis Liederkranz, 1417 E. Washington Street

  • Admission: Free for Members; $5 for all other guests

What to Expect

Come hungry and ready to move! We’ll be serving up traditional German favorites, including Bock beer, hearty brats, and sides. The evening will feature live music by POLKAMOTION, providing the perfect soundtrack for a night of dancing.

We want your visit to be as smooth as possible. Free parking is available at the following locations:

  • The FOP lot on South McKim Street.

  • The TWG parking lot located at the corner of Oriental and Williams Streets.
