In 2014, the Indianapolis Liederkranz was gifted a set of hand bells by Centenary Christian Church. Our director at the time, Loesje Chandler, promised them a good home here. We are comprised of a combination of brand new and seasoned ringers – nearly all of whom are also singers in our choirs.
Our musical selections include sacred and secular music – of German origin whenever possible!

But we also have a large library of traditional, sacred, and secular tunes for English handbells. In 2024, we brought music to very appreciative audiences at Indianapolis retirement communities.
