“One Ring to Rule Them All” is an immersive Konzert experience that reimagines Richard Wagner’s monumental “Der Ring des Nibelungen” on the 150th anniversary of its premiere. Drawing on the epic sweep of Wagner’s original cycle, this program retells the timeless story of power, destiny, and sacrifice through a dynamic blend of music, narrative, and theatrical design.
Selections from Wagner’s operas are interwoven with music from (and inspired by) some of today’s most beloved fantasy worlds, including “The Lord of the Rings”, “Game of Thrones”, and “The Legend of Zelda” – just to name a few. Far more than a traditional Konzert, this production unfolds as a musical drama, featuring dramatic lighting, staged moments, on-screen visuals, and narrated storytelling that guides audiences through the mythic arc.
