Frank Lee & Allie Burbrink present Southern Folk & Mountain Music!

The Indianapolis Liederkranz is excited to welcome back Allie Burbrink & Frank Lee!  Their show has become an annual favorite!

Frank and Allie are thrilled to return to the Liederkranz after a busy year of working in their duo and in their string band The Freight Hoppers.

A founding member of The Freight Hoppers, Frank has shared his passion for old-time music throughout the United States and Canada as well as northern Europe. He presents a range of old-time music spanning from the Mississippi Delta’s raw blues to the South’s hillbilly music recorded in the 1920s. Banjo players all over the world study and emulate Frank’s signature clawhammer sound.

Allie Burbrink cut her musical teeth as a founding member of The Whipstitch Sallies, a bluegrass-influenced band from Indiana. She now plays guitar with The Freight Hoppers and teaches bluegrass jamming classes through the Wernick Method.

Doors open at 6pm.  Show starts at 7pm.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for guests under 18.
